Sealed tender are invited by the Victoria Memorial from
the reputed Concern / authorised service agent of reputed manufacturers
for service / maintenance of computer, scanners and other accessories
as per the Annexure (Item details) given.
The sealed tender must reach the
office on or before 4.00 PM on 05-03-10. It will be opened
on the same day at 4:30 PM in presence of such quotationers who
wish to remain present.
Tender in sealed cover should be superscribed
"Tender for Maintenance Contract of Computer".
The rate should be quoted inclusive of all charges i.e. S.T.,
delivery charges, etc. The rate should be quoted in both words
and figures. The firm should submit credential in support of
their claims regarding their experience, etc.
The rates so quoted should remain valid for one year from the
date of acceptance of the tender and will be subject
to the following general terms and conditions:
l) The selected company shall attend the call the same day if
the call is made before l pm or within next working day for the
call made beyond l pm.
2) The repairing should be done immediately. If the same is not
possible due to reasons beyond control, the same is to be intimated
in writing to Victoria Memorial Hall. However, the repairing
works is to be completed within three days of taking call.
3) The rate shall include the cost of both service and spare
parts but shall not include cost of consumable items.
4) Terms of payment should be specified in the tender.
5) Intended tenderer may visit Victoria Memorial Hall for making
inspection of the computers and accessories before dropping the
tender during any working day between 11 a.m. and 4 p.m. in consultation
with Shri N. Sinha, Computer Assistant.
Tenderers are required to deposit earnest money @ 2% of value
of quotation in the form of Bank Draft on any nationalized bank
in favour of the Trustees of Victoria Memorial, Payable at Kolkata.
The above earnest money will be refunded after one month from
the date of issue of work order.
The successful tenderer will be required to deposit 10% of the
work value as security deposit in the same form in which the
earnest money has been deposited to the Trustees of the Victoria
Memorial before receiving the work order. The security money
since deposited will be returned not later than one year from
date of final payment. The earnest money will be forfeited if
the security money is not deposited within 7 days from the date
of intimation in this regard or if the firm is unable to provide
required proper service as per terms & condition within the
specified time schedule.
Authority reserves the right to accept or reject any or all the
tender without assigning any reason thereof.
