Sealed tenders are invited by the, Victoria Memorial from
Govt. enlisted electrical contractors for overhauling / filtering
and cleaning of electrical equipments installed at VMH.
Scope of work:
Filtration & dehydration of transformer oil in transformer
and OCB's and overhauling of H.T. (3 nos.) and L.T. (3 nos.)
panels.

The sealed tender must reach the office on
or before 3.00 p.m. on 22 March 2010, (extended by Order# 371/VC-11/04),
the same will be opened on the same day at 3.30 p.m. in
presence of such quotationers, who wish to remain present.
The rate should be quoted inclusive of all charges and
taxes i.e. S.T., transportation etc. The rate should be quoted
in both words and figures. Delivery will be required to be made
to the Storekeeper, Victoria Memorial. The tenderer should clearly
state the job execution schedule. The firm should submit the
credential in support of their claims to be the enlisted electrical
contractor of Government.
The tenderer will be required to deposit 2% of the quoted
rate as Earnest money in the form of demand draft in favour of
"the Trustees of Victoria Memorial", payable at Kolkata.
The above earnest money will be refunded earlier than one month
from the date of issue of work order to the unsuccessful tenderer.
The successful tenderer will be required to deposit 10%
of the work value as security deposit in the same form in which
the earnest money has been deposited to the Trustees of the Victoria
Memorial before receiving the work order. The security money
since deposited will be refunded not earlier than one month from
the date of final payment. The earnest money will be forfeited
if the Security money is not deposited within seven days from
the date of intimation in this regard or if the supplier is unable
to supply the materials as per his quoted price and within the
specified time schedule.

Authority reserves the right to accept or reject any or
all the tender without assigning any reason thereof.
