   NOTICE INVITING TENDER

Victoria Memorial Hall (VMH), 1 Queen's Way, Kolkata 700071 (Ph:2223-0953/1890) invites tender for disposal of several dead broken trees and branches lying in VMH garden. The list of such trees and branches are enclosed as Annexure I.

The tender in sealed cover should be superscribed with "Tender for disposal of dead branches & trees" and should be sent to Box No. (A) 6218 Ananda Bazar Patrika / (T) 6218 The Telegraph, within 03 AUGUST 2009.

The tenders will be opened on 05 AUGUST 2009 at 3.00 p.m. in the office chamber of VMH Administrative Officer.
Tenderers may remain present at the time of opening of the tender if they so desire.

The tender should be accompanied by an earnest money of Rs.2000/- (Rupees two thousand only) in the form of a bank draft drawn in favour of "Trustees of Victoria Memorial Hall", payable at Kolkata. Please note that the tender without the earnest money Bank Draft will be treated as cancelled.

The tender should be inclusive of all charges, including transportation, etc. The rates should be quoted both in words and in figures. The successful tenderer will be required to remove the branches and trees within 7 (seven) days of the receipt of work order.

The intending tenderers are requested to visit the site and get themselves acquainted with the type and quality of trees / branches VMH desires to dispose off. The successful tenderer will be required to deposit the quoted amount within 3 (three) days of the opening of the tender. For more details tenderers may contact the Caretaker, VMH (Mob. 9874144382) on any working day between 9.45 a.m. to 5.15 p.m.

VMH authority reserves the right to accept or reject any or all the tender without assigning any reason thereof.
