Sealed tender are invited by the Victoria Memorial from
reputed suppliers for
the Cleaning Materials as per the separate list given
below.
The sealed tender must reach the
office, on or before 2.00 p.m. on 10.02.2010 (new extended date).
The same will be opened on the same day at 3.00 p.m. in presence
of such quotationers who wish to remain present.
The quotation in sealed cover should
be superscribed "Tender for Cleaning Materials".
The rate should be quoted inclusive of all the charges i.e. S.T.
delivery charges etc. The rate should be quoted in both words
and figures. Delivery will be required to be made to the Storekeeper,
Victoria Memorial Hall. The tender should clearly state the delivery
schedule. The firm should submit the credential in support of
their claims to be the manufacturers / authorised dealers. The
rate quoted should remain valid for one year from the date of
issue of supply order.
Tenderers are required to deposit earnest money @ 2% of
Value of quotation in the form of Bank draft on any nationalised
bank in favour of the Trustees of Victoria Memorial, Payable
at Kolkata. The above earnest money will be refunded after one
month from the date of issue of work order.
The successful tenderer will be required to deposit 10%
of the work value as security deposit in the same form in which
the earnest money has been deposited to the Trustees of the Victoria
Memorial before receiving the work order. The security money
since deposited will be refunded not earlier than one month from
the date of final payment. The earnest money will be forfeited
if the Security money is not deposited within seven days from
the date of intimation in this regard or if the supplier is unable
to supply the materials as per his quoted price and within the
specified time schedule time.
Authority reserves the right to accept or reject any or
all the tender without assigning any reason thereof.
