  NOTICE INVITING QUOTATIONS
Sealed tender / quotation are invited for X-Ray Baggage Inspector System from bonafide & experienced supplied manufactures as per the following specifications:
Specification of X-Ray Baggage Inspection System:
  Tunnel Side more than 30" wide & 20" height (Tunnel size varies)
  'L' shaped detector for 100% package screening
  More than 28-29 mm. steel material penetration
  Contrast sensitivity 2 million colour tones
   Conveyor speed not lee than 48 ft. per minutes
 Extended conveyor length
 Fully reversible conveyor
 2 monitors one black and white other coloured
 Display of Organic, Inorganic & Overlapping
 User friendly key board
 Maximum load not less than 125 kgs
 Data storage more than 50,000 images
 3 emergency switches, one each in front and back of the scanner and one on the key board
 Should meet all applicable laws and regulation with respect to X-Ray emitting devices
 Constructed steel panels mounted on a roller coaster
X-Ray generator should be hermitically sealed oil bathed
   Three years warranty

The rate quoted should be inclusive of all fees, taxes and charges. It shall also include the cost of providing training to designated staff of VMH for ration of this systems

Only Bonafide and experienced firms who in the last three financial years have executed similar work of value not less than Rs. 15,00,000.00 (Rupees fifteen lakhs ) only, against a single work order can submit tender. The tender in sealed cover should be super scribed "Tender for X-Ray Baggage Scanner" and should be addressed to the Secretary & Curator, Victoria memorial Hall, 1, Queen's Way, Kolkata- 700071. The tender shall be dropped in a box kept in the chamber of Administrative Officer, VMH for this purpose on or before 17.02.2011 (2 PM). It will be opened on the same day at 3 pm in the office chamber of the Administrative Officer. The quotationers may remain present at the time of opening of the tender.
Documents Comprising in the Tender / Quotation:
a) Information on the Legal status of the firm / organization.
b) Documents showing work of similar nature performed in the past.
c) Trade Licence, Income Tax clearance certificate for the last three years.
d) A certificate from at least one client whose work had been satisfactorily undertaken by the firm / institution in the recent past & completed with satisfactory performance.
e) Details of warranty available for the product
f) Details of service agencies of the firm in Kolkata.
