Sealed tenders are invited by the Victoria Memorial from
the reputed / experienced air conditioning contractors for the work of supply and temporary installation
of air conditioners at VMH on hire basis for about 80 days (from
dt, 09.10.11 to dt. 18.12.11).
The sealed tender must reach the
office on or before 1.00 p.m. on 05.10.11. The same will
be opened on the same day at 1.30 p.m. in presence of such quotations
who wish to remain present.
General Conditions:
The quotation in sealed cover should be superscribed "Tender
for the Supply and temporary installation of air conditioners."
The rate should be quoted inclusive of all the charges i.e. service
tax etc. The rate should be quoted both in words and figures.
The tenderer should clearly state the delivery and work execution
schedule.
The quotation may be submitted on the letterhead of the firm.
Firm having current ST., P.T. and IT., trade license and other
credentials on the following items for having government and
V.V.I.P. programs etc.
The material to be supplied is scheduled to be inspected by the
concerned unit of the VMH.
The firm had undertaken such jobs of Govt. departments at the
cost of Rs. 2,00,000.00 (Rs. Two Lacks) or above against the
single work order during the last financial year.
The job to be under taken will follow the specification as recommended
by VMH authority.
For any additional information, quotationers may contact the
Electrician of this office between 2:00 to 4:00 pm on any working
day.
Tenderers are required to deposit earnest money @ 2% of value
of quotation in the form of Bank draft on any nationalised bank
in favour of the Trustees of Victoria Memorial, payable at Kolkata.
The above earnest money will be refunded after one month from
the date of issue of work order.
The successful tenderer will be required to deposit 10% of the
work value as security deposit in the same form in which the
earnest money has been deposited to the Trustees of the Victoria
Memorial before receiving the supply order. The security money
since deposited will be refunded not earlier than one month from
the date of final payment. The earnest money will be forfeited
if the Security money is not deposited within seven days from
the date of intimation in this regard or if the supplier is unable
to supply the materials as per his quoted price and within the
specified time schedule. The supply of materials will be required
to be made within 2 days of the issue of the order.
Authority reserves the right to accept or reject any or
all the tender without assigning any reason thereof.
Scope of Work:
To provide temporary air conditioning into the insulated wooden
structure / box with dimension of 71x23x14 feet area, by maintaining
round the clock required temperature at 20 -22°c and relative
humidity level at 55%.
